Prices Quoted Only For Strips Of Wider Than 6" Prior To June 1, 1932. Figure For May, 1923 Is Sometimes Misprinted As 2.30. Here It Is Given As 3.30, After Being Checked With Weekly Figures. From May 10, 1939 To May 15, 1939, Reductions Of From $4.00 To $8.00 A Ton Off Base Price Were Prevalent. Although These Concessions Were Withdrawn On May 15, Many Orders Placed At Concessions Ranging From $4.00 To $6.00 Were Later Adjusted To The Maximum $8.00 Reduction From The Base Prices. 1940 Data Were Computed By NBER From Weekly Figures.
