Future General Activity, Perceptions of Respondents for their Firm forecasts the change in general business activity of their company based on perceptions of their responses over the next six months for reporting service firms. The General Business Activity is the broadest measure of the Nonmanufacturing Business Outlook Survey. The diffusion index is calculated by taking the percent reporting increases and subtracting the percentage reporting decreases.
